📰 News Highlights

NASA’s Artemis II crew will splash down 50 miles off the coast of San Diego tomorrow, with the USS John P. Murtha leading recovery efforts

The Artemis II Orion spacecraft is scheduled to splash down in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of San Diego, California, on Friday, April 10, 2026, at approximately 5:07 p.m. Residents of San Diego may see the capsule as a bright streak for less than a minute before splashdown, so be sure to be outside around 5pm if you want a chance to see (and maybe hear!) part of history. Reports say residents may even hear a sonic boom as the crew re-enters the atmosphere.

The crew will be recovered by the USS John P. Murtha (US Navy). This marks the end of a 10-day crewed mission around the Moon, making history as the first crewed spaceship to enter that deep into space!

Every cup is brewed with intention and precision, leaving nothing to be desired (except maybe a second cup). They offer both single origin and blended coffees for espresso drinks and pour-overs. They also serve tea and specialty beverages. If you decide to check it out, you need to order the pancake syrup latte.
